Ghosts is now more than halfway funded, and continues to grow as the campaign only has nine days left. A trailer has been released as well for the game, where the cast outline the game’s main features and how gameplay will work. You can watch the trailer here.
Shepard is the writer and executive producer of the horror phenomenon, Host, and has enlisted the cast of the film to star in the world’s first real-time live action video game. The currently planned release for the game is scheduled for 2022, and will be releasing digitally on all major platforms. Interestingly, the game will also feature physical editions for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, which are being made by Limited Run Games.
In Ghosts, you play as a TV producer trying to keep your failing horror network FrightTV alive. The only popular show from the channel is “Ghosts,” and as you’re being fed live footage from the most popular locations in London, you need to properly choose what goes on air to keep viewers entertained and the cast safe.
The game can only be played at 10 p.m. local time, according to the Kickstarter page.
