The game takes place three years after its predecessor and players will once again fight the Aragami advancing on the human race. The Black Plague continues to engulf the planet, killing anyone once they are infected. The player is recruited into the Special Unit “Blood”, an affiliate of the Fenrir Organization, to investigate the cause of the plague.
New God Arcs, such as great hammers and scythes, will unlock new and tremendous power for players to wield against humanity’s greatest foes. In addition, over 400 new Blood Arts can be used to enhance the abilities of the God Arcs.
